Upcoming Events
City Council Meetings

Our City Council Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month. The meetings are held at Guyton City Hall and start at 7pm. The public is encouraged to attend.
Blood Drive
Begins: 2/27/2026 - 1:00 P.M.
Ends: 2/27/2026 - 6:00 P.M.
The Guyton Community Blood Drive will be held on February 27, 2026, in the Guyton Gymnasium at 505 Magnolia Street.
Seniors in the Know
Begins: 3/3/2026 - 9:00 AM
Ends: 3/3/2026 - 1:00 PM
The annual "Seniors in the Know" event will take place on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, in the Guyton Gymnasium starting at 9:00 am. All senior citizens are invited to attend this informative and interactive event!

Spring Sale Along the Trail

Guyton's Spring Sale Along the Trail will take place on April 25, 2026, from 8am until 2pm. We urge you to come out and enjoy excellent food, crafts, and sale vendors in the shade of the Guyton Walking Trail.
2026 Earth Day Festival

You are invited to participate in the 2026 Earth Day Festival on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 8:00am until 2:00pm! The purpose of the Festival is to educate the community about green issues specifically in Effingham County and surrounding areas thus motivating visitors to make their community greener.

Summer Social and Chalk Festival

The Guyton Historic Preservation Commission will host its annual Summer Social and Chalk Festival on June 13, 2026, along the Guyton Walking Trail. Bring the kids out for an afternoon of fun!
Juneteenth Holiday

Community Picnic

The Guyton Leisure Services is hosting its annual Community Picnic on July 11, 2026, from 10:00am until 3:00pm in the Guyton Gymnasium at 505 Magnolia Street. Make sure to mark your calendar for an afternoon of fun with games, food, prizes, books, and much more!

The annual "Soul to Sole" Breast Cancer Awareness Walk & 5K presented by Effingham Health Systems will take place on October 10, 2026, at the Guyton Gymnasium. Everyone is encouraged to lace up their favorite sneakers and participate!
