Streets and Lanes

The Streets and Lanes Department is responsible for maintaining and improving the City of Guyton’s streets and public rights-of-way. Our mission is to ensure safe, clean, and accessible roadways for all residents, visitors, and businesses.  Below are just a few of the responsibilities of Streets and Lanes:

Street Maintenance & Repair – Pothole patching, pavement repair, grading, and resurfacing.

Right-of-Way Maintenance – Clearing debris, mowing, maintaining public access areas, and dry trash pick-up service. .

Street Sign & Marking Maintenance – Installing and repairing traffic signs, stop signs, and street name markers.

Drainage & Ditches – Cleaning and maintaining storm drains, culverts, and ditches to reduce flooding and improve water flow.

Street Sweeping & Clean-Up – Keeping city streets and public areas clean and safe.
