Guyton Christmas Parade

The Leisure Services Commission will host its annual Christmas parade in Guyton on December 14, 2024! The theme for this year’s parade is “Rocking Around the Christmas Tree in Guyton.” The parade will begin at 11:00 AM at Guyton Elementary School. Businesses, civic organizations, churches, etc. are encouraged to participate. Parade entries will be judged on the following categories: Best Overall, Best Traditional, Best Spiritual Theme, Best Contemporary, and Most Festive Business.

December 4, 2024 is the deadline to register for the parade. Completed registration forms should be returned to Guyton City Hall or emailed to Crisa.Fort@cityofguyton.com. Registration is required to participate!

Whether your entry will walk or ride the parade route, we feel certain you can create an imaginative and vibrant entry for the event! Decorated, cars, trucks, animals, floats…or whatever you can come up with will make a successful event to promote our community. Be sure to have treats, coupons, ads, and other goodies to share with the crowd. Whatever you can think of to dazzle the spectators (and judges), for example, lights, costumes, music and sparkle would be great to include with your parade entry.
